The corner/end molding is a key component of wainscoting. Its main use is to finish the external corners of the wainscoting, which avoids the need to cut the wainscoting at an angle. If the top moulding in the external corner is cut at an angle of 45 degrees, the strip should be shortened by 3 cm.
